Standard Embroidery

Embroidery is a great way to brand items. It has a high perceived value and a quality look that printed items just can’t match.

Art Requirements

  • A vector art file from Illustrator or CorelDraw (.eps, .ai, .cdr) gives the best results and is much easier for us to work with.
  • A hi-resolution bitmap (300 dpi+).

Pros

Cons

  • Up to 15 colours in the logo.
  • We can sample for client approval.
  • Quality texture feel to the logo.
  • Fixed setup costs regardless of colour.
  • Easy to repeat.
  • Can be expensive for large embroideries.

Embroidery Appliqué

This is a great way to get a larger embroidery for a reasonable cost. We laser cut the fabric and sew it on to the garment. Normally 1 or 2 colours works best, any more and the logos can get quite thick.

Art Requirements

  • A vector art file from Illustrator or CorelDraw (.eps, .ai, .cdr) gives the best results and is much easier for us to work with.
  • A hi-resolution bitmap (300 dpi+).

Pros

Cons

  • Great for sweats, Hoodies.
  • We can sample for client approval.
  • Quality texture feel to the logo.
  • Different fabrics give different looks to the embroidery.
  • Easy to repeat.
  • The design needs to be thick – if its too intricate we cannot appliqué it.

3D Embroidery

This is great for caps to give a real standout look to your logos on Caps.

Art Requirements

  • A vector art file from Illustrator or CorelDraw (.eps, .ai, .cdr) gives the best results and is much easier for us to work with.
  • A hi-resolution bitmap (300 dpi+).

Pros

Cons

  • Best on Caps.
  • We can sample for client approval.
  • Quality texture feel to the logo.
  • Easy to repeat.
  • The design needs to be thick – if it’s too intricate we cannot get the puff underneath it.

Laser Engraved Patches

This process is a new spin on an old quality look. As it is a laser process we can engrave almost any logo with the finest detail and then sew it on to your garment. Perfect for all of this winters outerwear!

Art Requirements

  • A vector art file from Illustrator or CorelDraw (.eps, .ai, .cdr) gives the best results and is much easier for us to work with.

Pros

Cons

  • Quality traditional look.
  • Sharp detail – the smallest of small lettering is achievable.
  • Any shape – as it is a laser process we can cut to any shape.
  • Easy sampling.
  • As it is a digital process we can do variable data to really personalise your garment – i.e. individual numbers, names.
  • Different fabric options available for different effects.
  • We can mix and match this with embroidery.
  • Limited colour range – we are limited to fabric choices and colours. Also the engrave colour may vary slightly from item to item depending on the fabric consistency.
  • Larger patches can take a lot more time to engrave and so they can be expensive.
